Elvis Movie Exhibition

SEE THE FILM. LIVE THE LEGACY.

If you've seen Baz Luhrmann's ELVIS, we know you’re going to be all shook up about Elvis - and there is no better place to live the legacy of the king than at Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis.
In celebration of the film, Graceland guests can tour the Making of ELVIS Movie Exhibition at Elvis Presley's Memphis for an exclusive look into Baz Luhrmann's research and real-life artifacts from the film!

MAKING OF ELVIS MOVIE EXHIBITION

Open now through September 2024

Graceland is excited to announce that The Making of ELVIS Movie Exhibition is extending through September 2024! Five NEW costumes featured in Baz Luhrman’s celebrated film are now on display in the movie exhibition at Graceland.

New arrivals include:
  • Purple suit worn in the backstage scene at the International Hotel
  • Flower Power shirt worn during rehearsals at the International Hotel.
  • Top worn by Elvis (Austin Butler) inside of Gladys' closet, mourning her death.
  • Red shirt worn by Elvis (Austin Butler) in the Vistaliner bus scene.
  • Pale pink suit worn by Elvis (Austin Butler) at the Lauderdale courts apartment scene.

In partnership with Warner Bros., National Film and Sound Archives of Australia, and Baz Luhrmann, the exhibition looks at the beginning of the creative process for the celebrated film and follows it through its journey to the big screen, taking the story from paper to film.

Highlights of the exhibition include behind-the-scenes videos of the making of the film, including videos shot while researching Memphis and Tupelo, during the set builds in Australia, and in rehearsals, plus handwritten notes, drafts of scripts, storyboards, and more. Props from the film, set pieces, and costumes and accessories worn by Austin Butler (Elvis), Tom Hanks (Colonel Tom Parker), Olivia DeJonge (Priscilla) and other actors are also on display, plus a look at the worldwide media frenzy surrounding the film.

The movie exhibition is now open at Elvis Presley's Memphis through September 2024!
