VINCI Airports is proud to be a key partner of the Elektro Tour, the very first tour between France and the UK operated with a certified 100% electric aircraft: the Pipistrel Velis Electro. The #ElektroTour will make stops at 9 airports in our network in France and the UK, including London Gatwick, before landing for its final stage at Aéroport Annecy Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc on July 25. This event is fully aligns with our environmental plan: decarbonizing our own operation (scopes 1 & 2) and supporting the transition of the entire airport ecosystem (Scope 3) - including accelerating the development of electric aviation. 1️⃣5️⃣ million passengers welcomed at Guanacaste Airport - LIR 🇨🇷 Part of our network since 2018, the airport has proudly welcomed its 15 millionth passenger since the terminal's opening in 2012, arriving from Houston, Texas with Southwest Airlines 🇺🇸 This milestone reflects the growing international interest in Costa-Rica and Guanacaste's unique multi-destination offer. Since joining VINCI Airports, Guanacaste airport has steadily increased its connectivity and passenger services, contributing to Costa Rica's reputation as one of Latin America’s key travel destinations. Edinburgh Airport in Scotland and Salvador Bahia Airport in Brazil, both operated by VINCI Airports, have just reached ACA 4+ in the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme by ACI World - Airports Council International.  This certification recognises airports that are not only cutting their own emissions (Scopes 1 & 2), but also actively working with their partners to reduce indirect emissions (Scope 3).   🔍 What does that mean in practice? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 At Edinburgh Airport, 1st Scottish airport to reach this level, direct emissions have been reduced by 90% since 2019. Key initiatiatives include a 9.7 MWp solar farm, SAF for operational vehicles, a green tariff energy and low-carbon de-icing solutions. 🇧🇷 At Salvador Bahia Airport, direct emissions have been cut by 89% since 2018, thanks to 2 solar power plants supplying both the terminal and cargo operations, 100% renewable energy use, and concrete initiatives to support partners in reducing their own carbon footprint - such as electrified ground handling and reduced aircraft APU use.   This achievement reflects our commitment to achieving net zero emissions for our airports within the European Union, as well as Edinburgh and London Gatwick, by 2030 (Scopes 1 & 2), and across its entire network by 2050.   Today, 60 airports in our network are ACA-accredited, including 4 at Level 5 that have already achieved net zero emissions: Toulon Hyères in France, and Beja, Madeira, and Ponta Delgada in Portugal.   To learn more: https://lnkd.in/eJzmVeqX   #PositiveMobility #VINCIAirports VINCI Concessions

Belfast International Airport unveils first phase of VINCI Airports £100M redevelopment programme! This multilingual avatar is available on two animated interactive kiosks in the terminal, providing real-time flight updates, interactive wayfinding, and personalized information on airport services and regional destinations. 💬 Using agentic AI technology, the avatar can understand spoken questions, analyze them, and respond instantly - both orally and in writing, in more than 30 languages. It even integrates a live airport map for seamless navigation. This cutting-edge solution enhances the passenger experience and supports the staff, especially for multilingual needs. It complements existing services such as signage, mobile apps, and interactive kiosks. [Traffic Results] Nearly 73 million passengers traveled through VINCI Airports network airports in the first quarter of 2025, 4 million more than in 2024 (+6%).  January recorded high passenger numbers at more than 9% above 2024 levels, driven in particular by Asia and the return of traffic with China to levels above pre-Covid levels (+25% vs. January 2019). January's performance was also explained by a significant increase in traffic in Europe, mainly at airports benefiting from the dynamism of low-cost airlines, as well as in Mexico and Chile. Growth then stabilized at a good level in February and March, despite the unfavorable comparison with February 2024 due to a leap year.
