About the Festival

Korean Film Festival – KOFF brings to Brazil the most acclaimed South Korean films, as well as indie productions, showcasing both feature and short films across several Brazilian cities. Screenings take place in public spaces and movie theaters under the curatorship of filmmaker, producer, and professor at ECA/USP, Prof. Dr. Rubens Rewald.

The festival’s program includes a Non-Competitive Showcase featuring 20 South Korean films, and a Competitive Showcase with open submissions for films from both South Korea and Brazil, across two categories.

KOFF also features International Debates with Korean and Brazilian filmmakers and producers in a hybrid format, Video Production Workshops in public schools, and a Night of Tributes and Awards Ceremony.
