The TUMI E-Bus Mission contributes significantly to the goal of creating sustainable urban transport systems. Air and noise pollution are among the most pressing problems in today's cities. The TUMI E-Bus Mission not only works to reduce these problems, but also strongly cuts down CO2-emissions created by urban transport systems. Cities in the Global South benefit of technical adivse and mutual exchange through the TUMI E-Bus Mission City Network. By 2025, 500 cities will be supported in their preparations to implement a total of 100,000 e-buses. This will save more than 15 megatons of CO2 emissions.
