Global flight cancellations decreased by 18% in February, with 41,041 flights cancelled vs 50,110 in January, which led to improved On-Time Performance for airlines and airports.

GLOBAL OTP SUMMARY – February 2025

Global flight cancellations decreased by 18% in February, with 41,041 flights cancelled compared to 50,110 in January. Asia-Pacific region saw the highest number of cancellations with 15,357 flights cancelled or 37% of global cancellations, while North America accounted for 33% (13,587), Europe 20% (8,261), Latin America 6% (2,330), and the Middle East & Africa 4% (1,506).
