April witnessed 24% decrease in global flight cancellations. This improvement was particularly evident in Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe. However, Latin America experienced a 12% increase in cancellation.

GLOBAL OTP SUMMARY – April 2025

April data reveals a positive trend in airline operations, with European and Latin American carriers showcasing robust performance. This coincides with a significant 24% global reduction in flight cancellations, improving from 46,486 in March to 35,333 in April. This improvement in the operational landscape has also created opportunities for new airline leaders to emerge.
