Evento finale di “Deploy Your Talents”, progetto nato da CSR Europe e sviluppato in Italia da Fondazione Sodalitas giunto quest'anno alla XII edizione: rilanciare gli studi delle discipline STEM e superare gli stereotipi di genere che le caratterizzano, costruendo partnership tra scuole e imprese, questo il principale obiettivo della campagna "DEPLOY YOUR TALENTS – Stepping up the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) agenda for Europe”. Il prezioso supporto di Volontari per il Sociale e dei tanti tutor di Fondazione Sodalitas ha permesso di coinvolgere16 istituti scolastici superiori, che insieme a 20 imprese hanno lavorato per promuovere il valore della formazione nelle materie tecnico-scientifiche, perché una solida formazione STEM può fare la differenza per affacciarsi al mondo del lavoro con competenze molto importanti, utili e spendibili in tanti contesti anche di ricerca. Particolare attenzione alle donne nelle STEM, perché il rapporto oggi è ancora troppo sbilanciato in favore dei colleghi uomini, benché le donne abbiano risultati ottimi, addirittura in media più alti di quelli dei colleghi maschi. Il progetto ha previsto incontri scuola-impresa e visite aziendali svolte presso le scuole e le imprese in cui i manager delle aziende hanno affiancato oltre 400 studenti, attraverso un programma di formazione, tutoraggio e project work. Con Alberto Pirelli, presidente di Fondazione Sodalitas, ho ricevuto una grande energia da una platea attenta, coinvolta e protagonista di un percorso di scoperta di sé e dei sogni e delle proprie passioni che speriamo possano essere alla base dei progetti di vita di ciascuno: e a giudicare dai lavori condivisi da studenti e studentesse, l'esperienza di conoscere i propri talenti e immaginare il proprio futuro è piaciuta molto!
