Having been temporarily closed, the lounge has now been refurbished with a new look that embraces the contemporary London spirit, offering a welcoming sanctuary for passengers arriving or transferring at Heathrow. Conveniently located just outside the Arrivals Hall and adjacent to PPG’s in-terminal hotel, Aerotel London, the lounge provides the essentials catering to the needs of both leisure and business travellers. Whether arriving from a long flight or preparing to depart, travellers can refresh, recharge, or catch up on work in comfort before their next journey. The lounge features seven shower rooms, workstations, and light bites and beverages to fuel their next move. Major airlines operating at Heathrow Terminal 3 include Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and Finnair, with the terminal primarily serving long-haul flights. Foreseeing the needs of travellers, PPG further democratises the airport experience by making arrival lounges accessible to all passengers through a pay-per-use option. Traditionally, arrival lounges have been reserved for First Class passengers only, with limited airlines offering such options. This reopening further underscores our commitment to making travel better in the UK. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Song Hoi See, Founder & CEO, Mr. Ali Bora İşbulan, Deputy CEO, and Mr. Okan Küfeci, SVP EMEA, who shared their vision for Plaza Premium Group’s continued growth and contribution to elevating airport hospitality in the Middle East and Africa. The opening of our Riyadh regional office is a proud milestone as we advance our presence in Saudi Arabia and broaden our impact across the region. Mr. Song Hoi See, PPG’s Founder and CEO, joined the highly anticipated Airport Experience Summit 2025, organised by ACI World - Airports Council International, as the keynote speaker to kick off the event. In his keynote address, “Welcoming the World: The Future of the Hospitality in the Airport Universe,” Mr. Song reflected on more than 120 years of aviation history — from the world’s first flight, to how airports have evolved from transport hubs into aerotropolises and cultural destinations that offer a true sense of place and drive significant growth in non-aeronautical revenue. He also emphasised the importance of tailoring experiences for different traveller segments, connecting the journey through technology, and collaborating across the aviation industry to co-create value and opportunities that foster long-term sustainability. As he said, “Every Airport is a Destination in Its Own Right,” and “Connectivity is the Future.” The central theme of this year’s Airport Experience Summit is “Reimagining People Experience.” We’ve always believed that airport business is fundamentally a people business.
