Yay, in today's video I'm going to teach you how to grow the BOA PLANT! Let's talk about how long it takes to get really big, how it likes to be watered, why some leaves turn yellow and how it can be used in decoration, I'm even going to decorate a door here by making a leaf arch and I'll show you at the end of the video . But I'll tell you right away that this plant has many qualities: it is considered an air purifying plant, it grows quickly, can be grown in different ways and looks wonderful in decoration! *CULTIVATION METHODS* CLIMBING - the Boa is a plant that can be grown as a climber if it has something to support it. Some pots are already sold with a central stake, and you can replace it with larger ones and grow it vertically... it looks beautiful! There are several ready-made models of supports and you can also make one. I taught you in a video how to make a very easy and efficient model and the link for you to watch it later is this:    • COMO DEIXAR suas PLANTAS trepadeiras ...   If the Boa is planted close to a tree, it will support itself and grow a lot (and may even suffocate the supporting plant). PENDING PLANT - but if it does not have a support, it can be grown as a hanging plant with loose branches. This is the most common way that Boa Constrictors are grown in pots decorating the house, because they look beautiful creating a green curtain. It is even one of the most used plants in vertical gardens that offer the light it appreciates. You can buy smaller seedlings and take care of them to make them bigger... in 12 months, with enough care, they can reach a size of up to 2.5 meters in length. BEDDING - another way of growing Jibóia is as bedding planted in the ground, its branches release roots and settle down, covering large spaces. It is an excellent option for shadier outdoor spaces, where there is no trampling. HYDROCULTURE - another possibility is to make arrangements with the Jibóia and grow it only in water, without land. It looks beautiful, different and it adapts very well. I taught how to cultivate and make arrangements in water, in this video here:    • PLANTAS na ÁGUA 🌿 como CULTIVAR e DICAS   TYPES OF LEAVES: there are Boas with completely green leaves, others with yellow-spotted leaves, white-spotted leaves or completely yellow leaves like the Neon Boa. There is also a plant that has the popular name of Jibóia Prata, but it is a cousin of the Jibóia. GROWING PLACE: the ideal is to grow it in shade or semi-shade environments. The shade is the place that does not receive direct sun, just plenty of light. A tip for you to know if the place has enough light is to be able to read something, during the day, without having to turn on the light. If so, this is a sign that the place is well lit and meets the plant's need for light. Or you can grow it in semi-shade environments (where it only receives sun at the weakest times of the day). WATERING: regarding watering, the Jibóia likes the soil to be kept slightly moist. If you water the plant it will rot and if you water it at too long intervals the plant will wither, it will suffer and it will not develop well. To find out, always touch the soil to feel the moisture. SEEDLINGS: it is very easy to make boa seedlings, just cut a healthy piece of the branch, keeping the nodes from which new leaves and roots emerge. Then just put it in water or plant it directly in the ground. YELLOW LEAVES: Boa constrictors like heat, so they may suffer in winter. It is normal for some leaves to yellow at the base of the plant during this period. They will start with a small spot, and over time the leaf will turn yellow and fall off. But don't worry because it's normal during the cold season. *CURIOSITIES* The Boa constrictor can have very large leaves when it is planted in the ground and has a lot of space to develop. And unfortunately, even though it has so many qualities, I need to tell you that it is a toxic plant, so be careful if you have pets or children at home. I hope you enjoyed learning from me how to grow the Boa Boia, and I hope I inspired you to use this wonderful plant in your decoration. See you in the next video, a kiss and see you then! -------------------------------------------------- ------ Crys Bernardes Florist, decorator and gardener passionate about Nature Instagram -   / elatem.maniadeflor   OUR CONTACTS Website - https://www.maniadeflor.com.br Whatsapp - (41) 3227-6725 SOCIAL MEDIA Facebook -   / maniadeflor.floricultura   Instagram -   / maniadeflor.floricultura   Pinterest -   / maniadeflor   BOA PRODUCER Giardino di Cosi -   / giardinodicosi   Channel:    / maniadeflor   Video link:    • JIBÓIA 🌿 planta LINDA para DECORAÇÃO ...   Direction, images and editing: Tiago Borges Bernardes Screenplay: Crystiane Bernardes #urbanjungle
