The UK Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron recently joined the British Council at a Youth Connect for Ukraine workshop in Lviv. Youth Connect for Ukraine provides pop-up youth centres for young Ukrainians in Ukraine, Romania and Poland, with a focus on 'Creative Leadership'. Lord Cameron heard about the work of the young participants, the impact the British Council training programme has had on their activism, and the importance of leadership development in a time of disruption. He participated in activities, hosted a Q&A and coached some of the young people after hearing their presentations. 📸 British Embassy Kyiv. #Ukraine #BritishCouncil #FCDO

📚 British Council's Teacher Activity Groups (TAGs) foster a supportive network for teachers, enabling them to share experiences, develop practical skills, and explore innovative teaching methods. For Phan Thi Mai Thuy, a teacher from Viet Nam, joining a TAG proved to be a transformative experience that: 🖍️ introduced her to new teaching techniques like project-based learning and vocabulary games, 🖍️ improved her confidence in selecting and adapting activities for pupils, 🖍️ empowered her to create a more engaging learning environment. This is one of six #BritishCouncil programmes using TAGs to improve the quality of education in schools worldwide.
