2025 Annual Meeting in Acre, Brazil
The Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force (GCFTF) is thrilled to share the dates for our 15th Annual Meeting! From May 19-23, 2025, the Government of Acre, Brazil will host this important meeting to continue advancing on the co-construction of a New Forest Economy that protects intact tropical forests, restores degraded lands, and creates just and sustainable jobs and economic opportunities. Acre has been a leader on the climate, forests, and community engagement for more than two decades. Together with our member states throughout Brazil and the rest of the world, we are excited to continue highlighting the critical importance of subnational leadership and action on the road to COP30 in Belem. And, we are excited to welcome GCFTF delegates and partners to join us in Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil in May! See the Annual Meeting page for more detail.
