Each year, the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, co-hosted by DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, brings together nearly 400 veterans with severe disabilities. Held in Snowmass, participants experience adaptive activities such as skiing, sled hockey, curling, rock climbing, and educational workshops. Individuals are challenged to push beyond perceived limits and rediscover what’s possible. We had the privilege of speaking with Chris Young, a Coast Guard Veteran, five-time Paralympian, X Games and World Champion, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Para Sports Committee Chair, and 2024 inductee into the Adaptive Sports Hall of Fame. His journey and achievements are a powerful testament to resilience, determination, and the life-changing impact of adaptive sports. To all veterans - thank you for your extraordinary service and for the lasting impact you make every day. https://lnkd.in/gwi5UvB4

This year, we’re thrilled to bring together riders from all walks of life to celebrate diversity and push the culture forward. Huge thanks to our amazing partners who make this possible, and to all the riders who are part of this transformative journey. https://lnkd.in/gNAAS4Uw

After conducting extensive (and slightly unconventional) research, we've come to a thrilling conclusion: our Ski Patrol dog uniforms needed a dramatic upgrade. Introducing: - Moonboots that defy snow and logic - Boldness that transcends functionality - Snowball resistant paw pillows Starting next season, we’re piloting the featured uniform below. We’re talking about an unmistakable look—think Terrier meets high-fashion runway, where every step feels like a statement and every moment is Instagram-worthy. (And yes, those moonboots are absolutely happening.) We would love to hear your thoughts about these bold boots.
