How to sign up and link accounts

If you don't have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to download the Uber app in the App Store or on Google Play.

Step 3: Open your account settings in the Uber app

Scroll down to the Rewards section and choose Delta SkyMiles, then select Next on the next screen.

Step 4: Link your accounts

Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start earning Delta SkyMiles with Uber.

Frequently asked questions

  • You must have a Delta SkyMiles account. If you’re not a Delta SkyMiles® Member, you can join for free here. When you’re ready to start earning, you can link your account from the Uber app. To do this:

    1. Tap “Account” in the bottom right corner of the Uber app.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose “Partner Rewards.”
    3. Tap “Delta SkyMiles®.”
    4. Tap “Link Account” on the next screen and login to your Delta SkyMiles account to successfully link accounts.


  • Once you’ve linked your account and selected “Delta SkyMiles®” as your Earning Partner, you just need to make a Qualifying Transaction according to the Delta Program Terms, at the bottom of this page.

  • You will only need to link your Delta SkyMiles account with Uber once. When you link through either the Uber Eats or Uber app, you’ll be ready to start earning across both rides and Uber Eats. You can only earn points or miles with one loyalty partner at a time; if you are earning with another partner and would like to switch your active Earning Partner to Delta, navigate to the Settings section of your app and then, under Partner Rewards, check to confirm.

  • You can use your miles toward travel to 1,000+ destinations, a Delta Vacations® package, cars and hotels booked through Delta, or for day of travel perks like seat upgrades and checked bags.   • No, not all rides are eligible to earn. While you can earn miles on qualifying rides and orders, including restaurant and grocery orders, UberX trips to the airport, Premium Rides, and rides booked ahead of time with Uber Reserve, there are some rides that are not eligible. These include trips taken on Family Profiles or Teen accounts, along with rides booked through the Guest Rides feature. Other terms apply. Please review the full Delta Program Terms at the bottom of this page.

  • While you are able to link to both programs, you will need to choose which partner you want to earn with by making them your Earning Partner in the App. You can only earn points or miles with one loyalty partner at a time.

  • You will only earn on the portion of the Qualifying Transaction (as defined in the Delta & Uber program terms) that is actually attributed (i.e. charged) to your Uber account. The earn status of other riders will only be considered for the portion of the Qualifying Transaction that is actually attributed to their respective Uber account(s). For example, if you split a fare with a friend, each of you will earn only on the portion of the fare you paid for, respectively, not the total ride amount.

This offer (“Offer”) is limited to individuals who (a) have enrolled as US-based members of the SkyMiles program and have a US-based Uber account and (b) have linked their SkyMiles account and their Uber account within the Uber App (a “Linked Account”). To earn miles, you must (i) select Delta as your primary loyalty offer partner to earn within your Uber App (“Earning Partner”) and (ii) place a “Qualifying Transaction.” A “Qualifying Transaction” means a completed transaction made using the Uber and/or Uber Eats App, in accordance with one of the Mileage Offers herein, with Delta selected as your Earning Partner for such transaction. Delta business accounts are not eligible to participate.

Mileage Offer on Qualifying Transactions for Rides: Linked Account members are eligible to earn miles on their Total Trip Fare (defined below) for the following qualifying rides in the U.S.: (i) 1 mile per $1 USD of Total Ride Fees on Uber X airport rides, (ii) 2 miles per $1 USD of Total Ride Fees on an Uber XL, Uber SUV, Uber Comfort, and Uber Black, and (iii) 3 miles per $1 USD of Total Ride Fees on Uber Reserve Economy and Uber Reserve Premium. “Total Trip Fare” means the total amount spent by the Linked Account in connection with a qualifying Uber ride, excluding any promotions, discounts, taxes, fees, mandatory additional charges, and tips. Uber X airport rides are not eligible to earn miles at airport locations not serviced by Uber. Uber is not available in all locations and some exclusions may apply to ride types (eg. Taxi and Shuttle), or profiles that are associated with Family, Teen, or Guest accounts and are determined in Uber’s sole discretion. If the fare is split between multiple riders, only the fare actually paid by the eligible Linked Account(s) shall be used to calculate a mileage award; unliked members splitting a fare will not be eligible for earn.

Mileage Offer on Qualifying Transactions for Orders: Linked Account members are eligible to earn 1 mile per $1 USD of their total Uber Eats order amount (excluding taxes, fees, service charges, tips, and other non-food/beverage/grocery charges) on Restaurant Delivery and Grocery Delivery orders over $40 USD, in the U.S. Alcohol and similar restricted items (e.g., cannabis) are also not eligible to earn. “Restaurant Delivery” includes any food and restaurant category order placed with a restaurant merchant through Uber Eats. “Grocery Delivery” includes any grocery category order placed with a grocery merchant on Uber Eats from a grocery store through Uber Eats (excludes merchants classified as non-grocery or retail stores such as home improvement retailers, convenience stores, and gas stations).

You can only link one Uber account with one SkyMiles member account; SkyMiles account holder must be the same as the Uber account holder, and both accounts must be in good standing, in order to earn miles. You may link your Uber account to more than one eligible loyalty offer or program at a time, but you may only select and earn with one Earning Partner at a time. Individual transactions may only qualify for one loyalty offer at a time and cannot be stacked. You may modify your Earning Partner at any time under the Settings section in the Uber App. Removing Delta as your Earning Partner will not unlink your account, but will prohibit you from earning on Qualifying Transactions under this Offer until you reselect Delta as your Earning Partner. If you would like to switch between Earning Partners, please note that it may take up to one hour for such a change to take effect and you may not earn on Qualifying Transactions during this period and additional restrictions may apply, see Earning Partner FAQs for more information. If you no longer wish to participate in this Offer, you may unlink your account at any time in the Uber app.

When calculating miles earned, fares will be rounded to the nearest dollar, and then any promotional offer will be calculated on the rounded amount. Please allow up to 10 business days after completion of the qualifying activity for miles to be deposited in SkyMiles account. Miles are bonus miles and do not count toward Medallion Status or Million Miler Status.  Partner offers subject to the terms and conditions of each individual offer.

Offer(s) and associated terms and conditions subject to change, and may be modified, suspended or terminated at any time without notice. Offers void where prohibited by law. Other restrictions may apply. Determinations of eligibility are made in Uber’s and Delta’s sole discretion. Uber and Delta reserve the right to review and investigate all offer activities, and to suspend accounts or remove or amend miles for technical glitches or errors that result in an incorrect award, suspected abuse, violation of terms, or fraud.

By submitting your information and registering for a Linked Account, you agree to these terms and you agree that Uber and Delta may use or share your information in accordance with Uber's Privacy Notice and Delta's Privacy Policy, for the purpose of tracking and processing your miles into your SkyMiles account, sending you targeted offers, and sending your upcoming flight information to Uber to coordinate Uber rides with your Delta flights. Uber and Delta may use anonymized, aggregated data for business analytics and offer optimization.
