How does Grünenthal provide opportunities for professional growth? Meet Laura Wasser, our Sourcing Manager DACH, who shares her experience!   She joined our team 8 years ago as an Industrial Management Assistant apprentice and has since gone from strength to strength in our Global Procurement team. Today, she is working as Sourcing Manager DACH! “Early on in my apprenticeship, I sensed that a lot of effort was put into providing us with as many insights into the daily work of various business units as possible.” For Laura, however, the key driver to join Grünenthal was personal: “What really resonated with me was the collective mission to fight against pain. As a young adult, I struggled a lot with migraines. Because of my experiences, I knew what value the right medication holds for people who are suffering from pain”.    As part of our Global Procurement team, Laura manages a vital task for our company. We are glad to see that the people in the Kharkiv region are benefiting from our donations. Our co-operation partner Blau-Gelbes Kreuz Deutsch-Ukrainischer Verein e.V. shared some impressions that show how our office furniture is used in a physiotherapy clinic, where injured people, including wounded veterans, are treated. The eye surgery equipment for the university clinic in Kharkiv is now also in use, enabling people with severe visual impairments and, increasingly, with trauma-related cataracts to receive professional help for their eye problems.  #WeAreGrunenthal #worldfreeofpain

Over the last three years, they have fallen by a remarkable 62%. Safety is not just a value we uphold; it's ingrained in every aspect of our operations. Helping our colleagues at Grünenthal stay on top of the regulatory process in Germany – that is what Loi Vo does best! As National Market Access Manager for Germany, he observes relevant regulatory developments which determine the conditions under which medicines can be prescribed.   “I’ve been politically active as a volunteer in my hometown, Regensburg, since I was a teenager. Regulations, ordinances and dossiers – these are familiar concepts for me. And that really helps me in my daily work at Grünenthal.   What drew Loi to Grünenthal, however, is our mission to work for a #WorldFreeofPain. Our Responsibility Report showcases the progress on Grünenthal’s commitment to making a net positive impact on the people we serve, the communities we operate in and the planet we depend on.
